Our Story

Founded in 2025, Fastball Finds was the collective brainchild of two like-minded collectors and close friends, Aaron Porter and Trevor Grimes. Their goal in starting this business was to de-stigmatize the beginner nuances of collecting. They want the hobby to be accepting and open to all who are interested, making sure everyone feels welcome. They both believe that there are no stupid questions when starting a collection, and that the hobby has become too exclusive for someone new to comfortably join. When Trevor and Aaron started collecting memorabilia, it was a hard road, and they want to help people navigate better than they were able to.

About the founders:

Aaron Porter, a trained engineer, had shifted his focus back into collecting after the COVID-19 stay at home mandates. Aaron specializes in Michael Jordan, Nolan Ryan, and everything Beatles. Through the years, he has owned several rare pieces from both players and currently owns an autograph of every Beatle, including John Lennon.

Trevor Grimes, a determined entrepreneur, has been a collector of various things throughout his life, but set his sights on sports and entertainment memorabilia after finding a one-of-a-kind John Wayne & Gary Cooper signed baseball hiding in storage. Trevor specializes in vintage baseball cards, New York Yankees collectibles, and other icons such as Jim Morrison, Roger Maris, and Rocky Marciano.
